We’re retaining the counsel of one of the top environmental and land use law firms in California, who specializes in work like this. They have availability immediately, and a partner (not just a paralegal) will be assigned to immediately begin researching drafting our first demand letter.
This letter, created by expert litigators and outlining the many issues with the development, will be delivered to the Board of Supervisors, the development firm, and the applicant. It will officially put them on notice, and will be entered into the public record (crucial for any further challenges). The retainer is $5,000. The demand letter and their counsel will cost ~ $7,500. We’re asking for $10,000.
